What an amazing achievement! Today, we are incredibly proud of Harry, who is dancing in the West End with his musical theatre group at His Majesty's Theatre. This is a huge accomplishment and we know Harry's hard work, talent and passion will be shining during his performances. Well done, Harry! #proudtobeparkside

Year Four Book Launch What an unforgettable book launch as we stepped into Narnia! Our adventure began by filling out our evacuation tags before boarding the "train" and arriving at the Professor's house, where we discovered the magical wardrobe. Stepping through, we found ourselves in Narnia, seeking out the lamppost through the woods. We then visited Mr Tumnus' cosy cave with two chairs and a pot of food. After sneaking through the dark woods back to the lamp post, we made a little too much noise and were discovered by the White Witch! She left behind hot chocolate and Turkish delight for us to taste. To escape her spell, we searched for Aslan the Great and finally found the four thrones of the Princes and Princesses of Narnia. We then quietly returned through the wardrobe to Parkside, before enjoying Turkish delight and hot chocolate while listening to the next chapter of our book. What an exciting, magical day we had in Narnia!

School is open today - Thursday 8th January. However, with severe weather conditions predicted for later on today, all after school clubs, including den, will be cancelled. Therefore, all children are to be collected at the normal end of day time. We must ensure that all children and staff are able to get home safely before the worst of the weather sets in. Thankyou for your understanding and apologies for the inconvenience this causes. #proudtobeparkside
