This week, our curriculum block has been Art and we are so proud of the artwork that has been produced by our children. Year One and Two have been working in the style of land artist, Andy Goldsworthy creating natural art. Year Three and Four have been using bright and bold colours in the style of graffiti artist, Keith Haring. Meanwhile, in Year Five, the children have been working in the style of surrealist artist, Paul Nash and are looking forward to completing their final piece on canvas next week. Thank you to all our parents who attended our 'Reading for Pleasure Coffee Drop In' yesterday afternoon. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of these Parkside champions... These children have performed on stage twice (at The Gatehouse & The Rep Theatre) over the last week. They have dedicated time to rehearsals and put in so much hard work to learn their dances. The hard work certainly paid off and they were incredible! #proudtobeparkside
